First, we cut out the damaged part with enough space around this piece to ensure that no damaged areas remain. Once this piece is removed, we carefully measure the size of the hole and cut an identically sized piece, either from your remanent or from a piece that we have ordered to match for this purpose.
Once the new piece is cut, we go about the process of laying it down into the hole and fastening it to your carpet padding. After weaving this new piece in and securing it, we will brush the area to help the fibers mingle together. When done correctly your carpet won’t show any difference between the original carpet and the new piece!
